CAYA Sanctuary is founded on a belief in the power of spiritual connection through healing mind, emotion, body and soul. We believe that every individual on this earth has a unique understanding concerning spirituality, religion, a higher power, God and/or The Creator. We value inclusivity within our church and for all aspects of life. We do not subscribe to a dogmatic belief system; however, we are guided by The Ayahuasca Manifesto, the prophecy of the eagle and condor, and teachings of the indigenous people of the Americas who have been guardians and spiritual stewards of humanity and Mother Earth for thousands of years. 

At CAYA we do not adhere to a hierarchical system. We have observed the limitations within historical patterns of organizations, civilizations and societies built upon oppression and unbalanced power structures. We chose to use critical thinking, humility, transparency and equality in our church structure. The culture of CAYA is based on mutual respect for the wisdom each person carries and when shared it is seen as gifts from the Divine spirit, Creator or God flowing through our sisters and brothers. 

Many Indigenous and tribal communities have a supportive essence weaved throughout their culture and interdependence is a way of life. The majority of humanity has moved away from a collective lifestyle towards radical individuality and a consequence of growing in this direction has been massive separation and isolation, causing major spiritual, emotional, mental and physical dis-ease for humanity. The remedy is a remembrance of our interconnectedness, unity, harmony and belonging. CAYA sanctuary humbly offers support and safe guidance as we walk towards wholeness together. 

At CAYA each member is empowered to find the healer within, no one outside of ourselves holds the key to our truth and connection to the Divine. We have all experienced trauma and wounding throughout life which, for most of us, creates obstacles to wellbeing, living our best life, and our spirituality. Our belief is based on the understanding that as each individual aligns to their healing, personal growth and spiritual development a ripple in the fabric of the universe generates a collective expansion of conscious awareness, healing and the purification of our relation to the Divine and Mother Earth.
